(1) Legal Compliance and Regulations
All Heybike e-bikes comply with US laws and regulations, and our e-bikes are also safety-certified with UL2849 Standards. It is also suggested to wear a helmet and obey traffic rules during riding.

(2) Does my Heybike e-bike come pre-assembled?
Your e-bike will be partially assembled. All you need to do is some simple assembly of the front wheel, fenders, saddle, pedals, and other parts according to the instructions. You can refer to the corresponding user manual or watch the YouTube assembly videos for help.

(3) Do you need a special license to ride an e-bike?
Heybike e-bikes are designed under US regulations. No special license is needed to ride our bikes. This is true only of Heybike branded bikes and does not carry over to other types of electric bikes.

(4) Can I ride the Heybike e-bike on rainy days?
You can ride in light rain and don't have to worry about damage caused by spray from wet roads and raindrops. We don't recommend riding e-bikes in heavy rain or overly wet environments. Even if the battery is removed, there are many electronic devices such as wires, motors, etc., which may be damaged in rainy weather. As for the waterproof level, Heybike e-bikes meet IPX4 standards; the motor, battery, and display meet IP64 standards.

(6) Can I ride my e-bike with a passenger?
Except for the Hauler e-bike, Heybike does not recommend riding with more than one adult on the bike. This ensures safe riding conditions as well as maneuverability and control of the bike.

(7) Can I ride my e-bike off-road?
Yes! All Heybike fat tire e-bikes are suitable for off-road adventures, especially Hero, Brawn, and Tyson. The fat tires help you maintain balance and stability on rough trails.

(8) Will the e-bike be too tall to ride?

(9) What is the brand of Heybike battery and motor?
We manufacture the motors and batteries in our own factory. Every year we invest a large proportion of revenues in the research and development of more advanced batteries and motors. Hub motors are generally integrated into the rear wheel and are not available for purchase alone. As for the battery, you can buy one on our official website.
